The World Scout Jamboree is an amazing experience, and unlike any you would have experienced before.
You will join over 40,000 Scouts from all around the world, experience different cultures, and make lots of new friends. You may be camped next to a troop that speaks a different language than you, but together you will be sharing moments of Scouting fellowship that are hard to create anywhere else.
Our host countries, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, will provide glimpses into each of their unique cultures. The 24th World Scout Jamboree is all about unlocking new friendships and understanding new cultures, all at a venue that will challenge you to do things you did not think were possible.
The program will capture the four core values of Scouting: adventure, service, sustainability, and leadership.
The Pre Tour
Before the Jamboree the entire Australian Contingent will have an extra 7 days in the United States taking in the sights and scenes of Washington DC and Los Angeles, before travelling to the Jamboree site!
After our Pre Tour, the Australian Contingent will travel to Western Virginia to begin the World Jamboree at The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve!
The Post Tour (optional)
Once the Jamboree is over those not going on the optional Post Tour will return to Australia.
Those, however, who are lucky enough to secure a place on our optional Post Tour to Canada will have a further enhanced experience with an additional one week on an Aussies-Canadian Adventure. More details to follow in the 1st Quater of 2018.
